Dark Choc, Walnut & Cherry Porridge

A bowl of chocolatey goodness.

Chocolaty, creamy, nourishing and just like school dinner chocolate custard, this moreish chocolate porridge is the perfect way to start the day.

What you’ll need (serves 1):

50g porridge oats

1tsp cocoa powder

1/2tsp cinnamon

200ml soya milk

50ml Oatly barista

2tsp maple syrup (depending on desired sweetness)

Toppings of choice: I used my Dark Choc, Walnut & Coconut granola, frozen forest fruits, nut butter, maple syrup

How to make:

Add your oats, cocoa powder and cinnamon to a saucepan and mix together to avoid any clumps once the milk is added.

Add your chosen milks and cook on a low heat, stirring regularly until thickened and your desired texture.

Add in your maple syrup and stir again.

Serve into a bowl, add your favourite toppings and tuck in!

Storage: This can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. You could also add all the ingredients to a tub (without cooking) and store in the fridge for chocolatey overnight oats.
